ENVER MARINA

Enver Marina

Nationality: Albanian

D.O.B: 27/01/1977

Place of Birth: Kosova

Position: Goalkeeper

Club: Sarrebruck

While unable to set the world on fire with his goalkeeping abilities, Enver Marina, has perhaps been neglected by the Albanian establishment. Yes he has for the most part of his career played for lowly clubs in the regional German leagues, however an endorsement by the Albanian FA could have changed his career and perhaps helped him utilise his skills to achieve his true potential.
Sadly the Albanian FA, is not always very capable of acknowledging its human resources - hence our lack of success in recent history.
Enver Marina is worth mentioning for his work rate and experience, and while what has passed doesnt come back, personally we do not believe that it may be too late for him to be given a shot at defending the Albanian goal -with Strakosha having retired long ago, his successors have constantly looked shaky, and who knows, Enver Marina might just be that iron guardian that we've been waiting for.
The same of course applies to the Kosova national team.
